PAGIS

The heart of the program is the Pagis control center, shown above. 

The Pagis control center is highly instinctive and conforms to the popular Windows structure. The difference becomes apparent when you use the tools. To perform a scan, you merely drag 
the Scanner Icon to the program you want the scanned image to go to. You can see that the  scanned image can go directly into your FAX program, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express  and other programs you have installed. This is truly drag-and-drop scanning.

Scanned images, such as your company brochure can easily be sent to your web site,  attached to an e-mail to send to friends and family, or shared among people in your work  group. The possibilities are endless!

Images can be sent in the program's native .xif format and will be viewable with a viewer  that is provided with the image so that the recipient can view the scanned image even if they do not have Pagis installed on their computer.

Documents created in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. can be viewed in the  program even if you don't have the programs installed on your computer.

TEXT BRIDGE

OCR has never been easier. A single click of your mouse can perform all the processes for you automatically. It is literally as easy as 1-2-3. The screen shot above shows the document I have scanned. The small icon on the left is the entire document in thumbnail proportion. The larger image on the right shows the area that is being challenged by the program. I love this format. It easily allows you to correct a word or words that are not quite clear when scanned from a document where the type may be irregular.
