Brøderbund-Click Art Products
In the mid 1980's clip art was unbelievably expensive. A disk containing 100 images sold for $29.95. As the years passed, clip art became more competitive. Companies began to market collections of 5000 images for $79.95. Then it was 15000 for $69.95.
When Brøderbund entered the market in 1997, they offered four collections of what they call ClickArt. Their sizes and prices are as follows:

By 1986 standards this 200,000 piece collection is worth approximately $59,900! Seriously, this is the best collection of clip art I have ever seen. I have spent a couple of hundred dollars for various collections, but I prefer using the Brøderbund Collection because of the wonderful manual containing thumbnails of the clip art as well as the scope and variety of the clip art Brøderbund has assembled.
If you produce a newsletter, make greeting cards or stationery, design presentations, or create web pages, there will be a graphic in the package that will be suited to your purpose.
