Namo Web Editor 5 Web Page Design Has Never been Easier!

You don't have to be a programmer to build and publish your own web site. Namo Web Editor 5 makes designing a web site a creative and fun experience. A few short years ago, you would need a programmer to design a web site for you. With Namo Web Editor 5 you build a web site much the same way you would put together a scrap book.

I know that I make it sound easy, but in reality it is. Like a scrap book you start off with a blank page and add text and pictures, clippings etc. You may include a decorative border, and other personal touches.

A web page is an electronic version of a scrapbook. Starting with your first page which is called a home page on the web, your scrap book can be as large or small as you desire. From a single page to dozens of pages. Each page can be linked by electronic links to an item on another page or to another page itself.

Namo Web Editor 5 is a versatile program. From the novice to the seasoned web designer, there are features that will appeal to a person regardless of the level of web design/publishing experience they have. If you can use a word processor you can use Namo. As you experience grows, you will be able to change your web pages and polish them as you learn the program.

Namo passes by BRT (basic requirement test) for a software product. Without so much as a glance at any documentation, I always attempt to run a program and see how far I can get without using a reference.

While it is true that my level of web publishing experience is above average, I can still conceptualize how a program would be received by a new user.

Like all well designed programs, Namo Web Editor 5 features Wizards which make doing something a lot easier. When you open the program you can opt to have the template Wizard actually design a web site for you.

The template Wizard on the left offers you a variety of web sire types to choose from. Here I selected personal site 1. The center column shows the "stock pages" that are set up for you. You can see that there is a home page followed by a pages that tells the reader about you. Some of your favorite things can be shown or discussed on the three subject pages. Photos can be added to the following three pages and a photo can be linked to a story on your website or on another website of your choosing on the web. In reality you can add pages to any of the two

major sections or delete them from the site before you begin. In addition colors can be change after you create your web. From a small business to a family website, creating a website is both useful and entertaining.

Imagine creating an "on line scrap book" and sharing pictures and stories with you friends and family.

After you tell the Wizard to create the site, you will see a chart like the one above appears. It is called the Navigation chart and shows how the site ids laid out.

Click on any blue box and you are taken to the page it represents.

The Wizard Created a complete website in less than a minute. The web page above was created in a minute or so.

I added the text and the photo in a few more minutes. The buttons on the left are pre-made for you and you can easily change the button text by clicking on the button in the edit mode.

After you have practiced with the stock web page formats, you can redesign the entire site to suit your preferences. This is easier than it appears to be. Each button or heading can be replaced or redesigned yet the basic structure and links remain. You can easily add new pages or remove existing pages.

The program is easy to use and passes my BRT. (basic requirements test)
